About Me
Hi! My name is Mateusz Szycik, but you can call me Matt. I have been working as an English educator and mentor since April 2022. I started as an employee of a small-scale language school during my Bachelor’s. After about a year I moved to a larger company to grow personally in a more structured and corporate environment, and during that time, I switched to being an independent educator, and have worked as one ever since.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Translation and Localisation, along with a C2 English certificate and TEFL and TESOL qualifications. These academic and professional backgrounds, combined with years of teaching experience, allow me to deliver structured lessons focused on accuracy, clarity, and natural language use at any level, adjusting to the individual needs of my students.

Through the experiences mentioned before, my English, particularly my accent and pronunciation, has been consistently praised for its accuracy and natural sound by both native speakers and university professors. This exposure has helped me develop a deep, practical understanding of English beyond the classroom, in real-life settings. My interactions, travels, and international English-speaking friends make my accent accurate and true.
